This house has been recently restored by the owners with great attention to detail. You can easily feel the warm and cozy atmosphere of this comfortable accommodation as soon as you enter. The entrance to the house is via a private alley and this makes the house very calm and peaceful. The entrance, which can be heated in winter with a small wood stove, is tastefully decorated with local wall tiles and antique furniture. The en-suite bedrooms are decorated with high quality bed linen, which makes them very attractive. This house is ideal for those who are looking for a quiet atmosphere away from the city, but are only 2km away from it. Cultural and historical places, fishing, diving, hiking, snorkeling, swimming and other activities are only a 5 minute drive away. This home is equipped with the high health and safety measures so that our guests could feel comfortable.
HOW TO ARRIVE: Fly directly to Malta Luqa International Airport. Cheap flights to Malta are from Ryanair. co. uk and easyJet. com available. Airmalta flies to different destinations. Other airlines like BMI, Lufthansa, Air France and Meridiana.
From the airport we can offer direct transfers to the Cirkewwa ferry port. From there, take the ferry to Gozo, where we are waiting for you at Mgarr Harbor, and then we will take you to your accommodation.
Or if you want, we can rent a car for you, which you will find at the airport or at the Mgarr ferry port.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION: Part of this historic building dates back 300 years. Right at the entrance you can see the original stone oven, which was still in operation until the 1980s. Beautiful old vaults provide a pleasantly designed. Seat from where a sofa can be used as an extra bed. You can use the 'Lenbi' (a kind of stone basin) where the women made the dough for the bread for a whole week. Another special feature is an ash pit that was discovered during the restoration. It can easily be used as a wine cellar. The stone floor tiles that can be found everywhere in the bakery add another character. During the hot summer days, the small but country-style courtyard invites you to the shade of the huge banana trees to relax. The fish seller, the baker and the fruit and greengrocer who come to our village every morning give this place even more charm.
THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOUSE: The private alley and the open space in front of the house make it ideal and safe for the children to play away from the main street.
The bus stop is only 50 meters from the house.
Zebbug is on a hill and a car is recommended to see the Inzel. We can rent a car from the airport or from the Gozo ferry for you at competitive prices. If you are adventurous, you can rent a motorcycle or bike - everything is nearby.
We give you enough information about what you could do on the island. We can organize trips around Gozo and Comino for you. We would be happy to take you around the hidden places of the island at a good price. If the weather is good, who we grill outdoors near the sea and you can enjoy traditional food.
